GoHighLevel vs Zoho: Pricing, Features and Fit
GoHighLevel charges a flat $97 a month for its Starter plan, the same rate whether one person logs in or ten.
Zoho CRM does the opposite: its Standard edition starts at $14 per user, per month, on annual billing, according to Zoho's own CRM pricing page.
That single difference in how each company prices a seat decides most real comparisons of GoHighLevel vs Zoho long before anyone opens a feature list.
What Each Plan Actually Buys You
GoHighLevel's pricing page lists three tiers. Starter runs $97 a month with three sub-accounts. Unlimited runs $297 with unlimited sub-accounts and a white-label desktop app. The Founder plan, at $497, adds SaaS mode for reselling the platform under your own brand.
A sub-account is a separate client workspace: its own pipelines, calendar and contacts, walled off from every other client an agency runs. Zoho has nothing quite like it, because Zoho CRM is built around one company's own sales team rather than an agency serving many.
Zoho's five editions climb from a free tier capped at three users up to Ultimate at $52 a seat on annual billing, with Standard, Professional and Enterprise in between.
On month-to-month billing instead, Professional runs closer to $35 a seat and Enterprise to $50, per the edition breakdown SpotSaaS compiled from Zoho's own tiers.
| A 5-person team on | Monthly cost | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| GoHighLevel Starter | $97 flat | 3 sub-accounts, CRM, SMS, funnels, unlimited seats |
| Zoho Standard | ~$100 | Built-in calling, multiple pipelines, calendar sync |
| Zoho Professional | ~$175 | AI agents, Blueprint process automation, inventory |
| GoHighLevel Unlimited | $297 flat | Unlimited sub-accounts, white-label desktop app |
Paying annually changes both sides of that table. Zoho's own pricing page advertises savings of "up to 34%" for committing to a year, which is how Standard arrives at its $14 headline instead of $20.
GoHighLevel's Starter plan drops to $970 billed annually, about $81 a month, per its pricing page.
Where the AI Features Diverge
GoHighLevel builds its AI around conversation and voice. Its homepage describes an "AI-powered business operating system" built on voice AI calls and automated content aimed at winning back cold leads, sold as an add-on layered on top of a paid plan rather than bundled in free.
Zoho's AI works differently. A page on the company's site for Zia splits the assistant into three parts.
Zia Agents are built for specific business processes. Chat works as a conversational interface across Zoho's apps, and Skills thread through the wider Zoho product suite rather than staying inside the CRM alone.
Neither approach is bigger than the other so much as aimed differently. GoHighLevel's AI exists to keep a prospect talking until they book. Zoho's exists to work the data already sitting in a pipeline a rep already owns.
GoHighLevel vs Zoho: Picking by Team Shape
An agency billing clients for CRM access has an easy call here. Sub-accounts, white-label branding and SaaS mode only exist on GoHighLevel's side, and our SaaS CRM launch work exists because agencies keep needing that reseller layer built out properly instead of bolted on after the fact.
A single sales team with no resale ambitions gets less from that layer. What it gets more of, on Zoho's side, is pipeline customization, Blueprint process enforcement and forecasting that GoHighLevel doesn't attempt to match.
Firms already running GoHighLevel for one client often graduate into reselling it, which is where white-label support and a clean GHL setup start paying for themselves. Teams leaning toward Zoho should weigh the per-seat math against other CRMs too, including our breakdown of GoHighLevel against HubSpot.
Price the plan against your actual headcount, not the number on the homepage. Zoho wins the per-seat math for a small team with no resale plans. GoHighLevel wins the moment sub-accounts or reselling enter the picture at all.
